Sarbajanin (Community) Durga pujos have been celebrated in Bengal and other states of India since 1910. The sounds of “dhaak” and conches, the smell of incense and khichuri and the sight of Ma Durga’s glorious ensemble has been part of the Triangle Bengali community since its inception.
Condensing the six-day long annual festival into 3 day is no mean feat but don’t underestimate the enthusiasm and devotion of the Probasi bengali! From art competitions for the children, local theater productions, dhunuchi naach, sindur khela to visiting artists from India, we pride ourselves for providing an authentic cultural immersion for our community.
